Amma is here, and I don't know if I will see her. My car is broken, so I will look on the website for carpool people from San Francisco. There has not been one year since 2001 that I have missed seeing Amma at least once, either in November or June. I
I wnet last year a couple of times with my friend who drove and volunteered a lot of hours to the ashram. One night we went with our Punjabi friend, and I caught some good photos of my two friends together.
Didn't get darshan last year. Maybe I should get it this year. I will meditate on it, given that I would have to take Bart because my car is broken, boo hoo.
I want to go and see Amma, like seeing a friend you missed seeing six months before. THere was a time back when I was working, maybe 2007, We all went up before darshan on our knees or sitting near the floor. There used to be an area for people to sit down around Amma and the musicians and meditate while on the floor. Now there are chairs impinging on the meditation space.
In any case of maya, there exists someone who want to fall prey to the challenge of asking Amma to look into the nature of maya, in this case, a man asking Amma about feminism. haha
The man spoke out from the right hand sideof us in the darshan line, posed his question to Amma, who immediately answered back in Malayalam which was quickly translated, a three-ring-circus.
More later. I want to listen to music, and I cannot be on blogger and listen to sound apps at the same time. C'est la vie.
